Ice Cream Towers and Foggy Mornings

Meet Henry (8), Thatcher (6) and Maren.

Meet Henry (8), Thatcher (6) and Maren!

Henry loves coming to the store for fruit and candy. “Me too” says Thatcher! This active family kayaks, canoes or SUPs across Mystery Bay for ice cream at the store. So fun! Thatcher wants you to know he sleeps in mom’s Marrowstone Island shirt…purchased you know where!

Ed brought his visiting daughter Emily to the store for coffee, pastries and groceries this week.

Emily appreciates our sweet community where neighbors know and look out for each other. Ed and Emily like to buy ingredients for banana splits at the store (especially the Coop’s salted caramel sauce). Can we come?

What to do when the recycling company won’t pick up your cardboard any longer?

Find energetic volunteers like Rich and Tom to make your recycling runs. These friends say they’re looking forward to being the “old” guys at the store enjoying coffee in the morning and beer in the afternoon. We love it…but you aren’t old enough yet!

Meet Austin, Sierra and baby Ayla.

Austin walks with Ayla for two hours each morning to give Sierra a little rest. Often his walk includes a store visit! Austin runs Olympic Kayak Tours and delights in sharing our wildlife and nighttime bioluminescence. Austin and Sierra enjoy having the store close and are big fans of It’s a Wrap, Pane d’Amore, ice cream and much more!

The temps are creeping up, the days are noticeably longer and our Elevated Ice Cream game is strong.

Pro tip. Your ice cream won’t melt as quickly in the spring…perfect for enjoying while you sit on the porch watching the Mystery Bay tide ebb and flow!

Uma, Inga, Mindy and Matt came to Marrowstone for a family weekend.

Uma and Inga are U-Dub students and love when mom and dad visit from Spokane. A favorite family activity is visiting Fort Flagler in search of beach treasure and eagles. They say the best part is coming to the store after the park for local crafts, baked goods and coffee.

Sue and Tom want you to know Tractor Days is ON!

Rain or shine, festivities will take place on May 25

The tractor parade starts at 1 pm and the triathlon begins at 2 pm. The triathlon kicks off with a run to Mystery Bay Park, canoe or kayak back to the dock and bike around the island. Or, skip the race and join us for warm drinks and pastries while you cheer on the participants!
