Happy Father’s Day

to the dads, stepdads and dad figures who inspire, teach and support with love.

We have lots of options to show dad extra love this weekend!

You know dad is always right. And we’re mostly right about what makes dad happy. Besides you, that is.

Speaking of amazing dads, Scott from Mystery Bay Farms is making hay while the sun shines.

Scott harvests hay at peak protein content to feed the goats only the best. Which means higher quality goat milk. Which means the best chèvre for you at your Nordland General Store! We l-o-v-e when Scott drives his tractor to the store to pick up beer after harvesting!

Wisconsinites and Seattleites Carol, Stevie, Sam and Stacy visited Marrowstone on a stunning sunny afternoon.

Carol previously worked for a large, healthy-ish grocery store now owned by Amazon. She is impressed with our gourmet, high quality selections. Carol and Stevie are engaged (congrats!) and loved Marrowstone. So much so that they asked if we knew of a wedding officiant who could perform the service immediately!

Taylor and the crew at Marrowstone Vineyards are thrilled with the newly released 2024 Rosé.

This dry, medium body blush is made with Mourvèdre grapes from Yakima Valley and pairs well with seafood and garden salads. And guess what? You can only buy this lip smacking bottle from the Nordland General Store or the vineyard. Honored!

Sue and Bonnie came in to see our newly relaunched store and visit Sam, their old friend and our general manager.

Sue worked at the Food Co-op in PT and is widely recognized as a produce legend. Which is why we blushed when she told us our produce is well-tended and appealing. Sue and Bonnie love bringing their grandkids to Marrowstone to visit the parks and beaches. We can’t wait to meet all the family members!

Sometimes all it takes is a simple picture.

These sugar snap peas from Midori Farm are as sweet and crunchy as they look. Enough said.

How are you guys doing?
Well, it’s been a week.
Our produce cooler decided to stop working. So we’ve juggled to be sure you can still access gorgeous berries, greens and other organic produce. And our largest grocery supplier had a security breach so we couldn’t place an order this week. So we’ve scrambled to keep our shelves full.

What are you doing to practice self-care and manage the stress?
Eating Cearra’s cookies and drinking Chimacum Valley Brewery pilsners and ales.

How many days until the Summer Solstice?
Only 7!
