Happy Mother’s Day

to the moms, stepmoms, bonus moms and all those who do a mother’s work and give a mother’s unconditional love.

Ryan, Willa and Josie (6 months) visited us from Oregon.

Ryan and Willa honeymooned on Marrowstone in 2022. They were delighted to see our store reopened this week. Willa bought a few bottles of our Marrowstone Vineyard wine because she said drinking the earthy wine at home reminds her of our little island!

We know love and gratitude are the most important gifts you can give the moms in your life.

If you’re also looking for small ways to show your appreciation, we’ve got you covered!

Thank you Sue and Tom for planting our flower boxes and preparing us for summer.

This year’s planting task also included rebuilding two planter boxes. We are awed by everything you do to add beauty and joy to our store and island. We can’t wait to see blooms spilling over!

Ally’s brother (Austin) and cousin (Hunter) were each paid $5 by their moms to visit our store as dinosaur cowboys.

The boys are out of school for the summer and looking forward to camping and being outdoors. They love getting snacks at our store and are very enthusiastic about our premium marshmallow selection!

Teri and Dan recently celebrated a sparkling sunny day with bubbles and ice cream.

Dan is a doppelgänger for a certain jolly soul who visited us in December. Just a coincidence, we’re sure! Teri and Dan are part of an extended Marrowstone family that pumps up our community!

Sandy and daughter Leslie visited their friend and co-worker Laura (center) on Marrowstone.

Leslie was thrilled to try our vegan Fiddlehead ice cream! This trio thinks community co-ops are magical and they loved our origin story. Their enthusiasm for our store left us smiling all day.

Holly and Evelyn (4) stopped in for coffee before heading to Oma’s to visit her little chicks.

Holly loved the Nordland General Store candy selection as a kid and she’s happy we’ve recreated an old school candy section. Thank you Holly for creating new store memories with Evelyn.

Barbara, Lori and Kim visited from Port Ludlow.

They applaud our bright, homey store and fresh produce. Barbara’s family owned a five and dime store in Poulsbo. She said our store brings back many happy memories.
