Open the windows. Turn up the tunes. It’s Full Tilt summer!
This is a love letter to Quince.
Our store shines brighter whenever you pop in. Whether you are bringing flowers for our customers or grabbing snacks for biking with dad, your energy propels us all. Yes, we admire your entreprenial spirit and appreciate your flowers on our counter. But most of all we adore the person you are becoming.
Liz, Karen, Lyndi and The Mighty Quinn were excited to visit us before and after walking at Fort Flagler.
These longtime friends loved our old world charm and said our store transported them to a simpler time. This was Liz’s inaugural Marrowstone visit and we hope these lovelies return. With TMQ!
Mitchell and Madison brought Emerson (1.5) to shop in our kids corner.
Fun fact. When Mitchell and Madison started dating, they’d pick up movies from the old store and hang for the weekend at Mitchell’s parents on Marrowstone. We may not have DVDs or toy cap guns anymore, but we love remaining part of your family island experience.
Nerd alert! Ann, George, Suzanna and Larry have a combined three PhDs.
And these four wisely love sitting on our front porch watching the world go by. Arizona residents Suzanna and Larry have visited Marrowstone every summer for over ten years. We are grateful for Ann and George’s daily visits and delight in meeting their family and friends all summer long!
Tess and Rowan (6 months) are Marrowstone residents.
Mom and Dad left Seattle for a quieter lifestyle and a more carefree childhood for Rowan. This foodie family appreciates our cozy store, personable staff and rotating pastry selection. Mom is excited for the day when Rowan and our staff will greet each other by name. Welcome to our community!
Gary, Cynthia and Cosmo arrived by boat to visit their Marrowstone friends.
They embraced all things Marrowstone: our store, winery and Fort Flagler and East Beach State Parks. And, of course, crab season opener. They marveled at our store bounty - tahini, kale, GF crackers, local jewelry and so much more - and visited us daily!
Meet daughter (Lanie) and mom (Marcia).
In the 80s the family began staying at The Ecologic Place cottages on south Marrowstone. Years later Lanie and her husband honeymooned on Marrowstone. Mom gave Lanie a store membership as a birthday present! How cool is that?!
Jess and Katie bonded in our parking lot after realizing they both like to zip around in their matching Fiat 500e cars.
These new friends are Marrowstone residents and love shopping for groceries without leaving the island. White wine, bananas, hamburger buns…apparently we have everything they need! This is our dream. New and old community connections.
Grace, Susan and island resident Debbie met during an intensive on-line program in 2022.
These three virtual friends decided to meet in real life on Marrowstone. And boy are we happy they did! They gushed about the pace and beauty of our island and fell in love with our store. We had everything they needed from local salad greens to artisan wedding presents. They said each locally crafted item carries a story and honors the energy of our special community. Wow. We’re blushing.
